WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Ildilko ~ Australia

I have a 4th grader and a 9th grader, and both started online lessons with her two months ago. I was worried virtual learning wouldn’t engage them, but they actually look forward to every session!

Kathryn has a wonderful way of capturing their attention—lessons are fun, creative, and full of meaningful content. For my younger child, even small tools like color-coding punctuation have made a big difference in reading comprehension. Her fluency and understanding have noticeably improved.

My older child, who loves art, has struggled with rigid instruction in the past. Now, with Kathryn’s step-by-step guidance and encouragement, her confidence has grown, and her drawing has transformed. She’s more focused and no longer frustrated.

Kathryn tailors each lesson to what my kids need most. In just a short time, she’s helped my teen develop a love for reading—she’s even reading Romeo and Juliet and can’t wait for the next book.

Thank you, Kathryn, for your thoughtful, skillful teaching. We’re so thankful for you. -

Kathryn holds space with such warmth and intention.  As a facilitator, she brings clarity, deep listening, and a beautiful sense of structure to each circle.  Her ability to weave story with art invites personal reflection in a way that feels both meaningful and creative.  Every circle I've attended has left me feeling grounded, inspired, and more connected to myself and others as well as deepened my discovery of inner insight into myself, learning more about why I feel the way I do and why I do some of the things I do.  With Kathryn's support, I even surprised myself with some of my inner truths that bubbled up.   Kathryn's presence is truly a gift.

Kathryn is an old soul, a beloved friend, and my former Waldorf colleague. She is truly one of the most gifted and heartfelt teachers I’ve ever known—able to hold space for her students with such love, warmth, and genuine care. An extraordinary artist, she infuses everything she touches with beauty, depth, and soul.

Kathryn is wise, intuitive, articulate, and deeply reliable. She has a rare ability to balance being detail-oriented with a beautifully holistic perspective. She’s also well-traveled, open-hearted, inclusive, adventurous, full of life, and a joy to be around. As a facilitator, she brings people together with grace, creativity, and compassion.

I feel so lucky to have her in my life. Anyone who crosses paths with Kathryn will surely be touched by her magic, her kindness, and the radiant light she brings into the world.

Kathryn is an exceptional teacher who meets each of her students with authenticity, inspiring and guiding them to grow into the best version of themselves.

Her depth of experience spans all ages, diverse learning needs, and a wide range of academic and artistic subjects. As a colleague, she brings warmth, open-mindedness, and a deep respect for others’ perspectives.

She is a thoughtful listener, a generous collaborator, and a steady, supportive presence in any group.

Kathryn is one of the most skilled and heartfelt educators I’ve ever worked with, and I recommend her without hesitation to any family, person or team.

Kathyrn Loveday has been a singular force for good in our boy’s life.  Her ability to inspire children is nothing less than extraordinary.  While other tutors and teachers are able to motivate students at times, it feels like they are “pushing” the students. With Kathryn, it is more like they are willingly “pulled” along in her footsteps towards improvement instead.  I have found very few teachers and tutors who collaborate with younger students the way she does.

Her ability to gain the children’s respect and therefore earn an aspect of control over any and all of her students also adds to her effectiveness.  This is seemingly done effortlessly by Kathryn, and without the students even realizing it is happening.  I believe this comes from who Kathryn is as a person, and there is a level of respect from her students that is simply always there.

Anyone who is able to have Kathryn working with their student should feel extremely lucky, as she is truly one of a kind.  I cannot recommend her enough.

Ms. Loveday is a passionate, creative educator who brings a deep understanding of child development to her work. She structures her sessions thoughtfully while keeping them engaging and fun. Her ability to connect with students and make learning feel safe and manageable has been a real gift.

Our daughter was hesitant about tutoring, until she heard from friends how wonderful Ms. Loveday had been as a substitute teacher. They spoke about how she helped them feel more confident in math, especially those who had struggled. That made all the difference—our daughter agreed to try tutoring, but only if it was with Ms. Loveday. She is the reason our daughter now has more confidence in her abilities in math—something we hadn’t seen before.

Rooted in Waldorf principles, Ms. Loveday brings a deep respect for the child as a whole being, helping students build confidence while cultivating their natural curiosity.

Her experience facilitating Girls Circle at our daughter’s school also brings a rich layer of social-emotional insight that supports inner developmental growth.

We were so fortunate to have Kathryn lead an art activity for my daughter’s 9th birthday—she was the perfect presence for the day.

Kathryn is a natural facilitator who creates a warm, welcoming space where kids feel safe and inspired. She designed a beautiful watercolor jellyfish and mobile-making activity tailored to my daughter’s gentle spirit—it was more than a craft; it was a calming, expressive experience.

When the weather suddenly changed, Kathryn adapted effortlessly, keeping everything running smoothly and the kids happily engaged.  She shifted everything indoors without missing a beat.  Her resourcefulness and flexibility made everything feel seamless.

What truly stands out is the love, joy, and care she brings to every interaction. She doesn’t just lead art—she builds connection.

Kathryn is a gift, and I can’t recommend her enough.

Katie ~ B.C.

Kathryn is a highly skilled facilitator that brings integrity and heart to everything she does .... she fosters safe, inclusive, space in which each individual is truly seen.

She creates relevant and deeply meaningful artistic activities that are accessible to all - in this space, each participant is able to bring their gifts forward, learn about themselves, and create meaningful connections with the world and other group members.

Whether you are an adult or child, I highly recommend working with her!

Kathryn is one of those rare educators who leads with both wisdom and heart. Whether she’s guiding a group of preschoolers through an art-filled field trip or weaving storytelling into a hands-on creative project, Kathryn brings intention, joy, and depth to every artistic experience.

As a colleague, I’ve seen how students naturally gravitate toward Kathryn. She creates a learning environment where they feel respected, supported, and encouraged to express themselves. Her calm and steady presence helps students stay engaged, while her thoughtful approach invites curiosity and creativity. Every lesson is well-crafted, meaningful, and responsive to the needs of the group.

What stands out most is how Kathryn nurtures both confidence and creativity in her students. Anyone who has the chance to work with her will leave feeling more capable, supported, and inspired.
