Kathyrn Loveday has been a singular force for good in our boy’s life. Her ability to inspire children is nothing less than extraordinary. While other tutors and teachers are able to motivate students at times, it feels like they are “pushing” the students. With Kathryn, it is more like they are willingly “pulled” along in her footsteps towards improvement instead. I have found very few teachers and tutors who collaborate with younger students the way she does.
Her ability to gain the children’s respect and therefore earn an aspect of control over any and all of her students also adds to her effectiveness. This is seemingly done effortlessly by Kathryn, and without the students even realizing it is happening. I believe this comes from who Kathryn is as a person, and there is a level of respect from her students that is simply always there.
